Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to some common questions about Care65.
What is Care65?
Care65 is a preparation app designed to help older persons and the ones who support them prepare for appointments and assessments, keep track of important changes, and bring important information together in a clear Care Summary.
Who is Care65 for?
Care65 is for older persons and the people who support them. You can use it yourself or with help from a family member, carer or other trusted person.
What can I record in Care65?
You can use Care65 to complete a Head-to-Toe Check-In, record conditions and medications, add changes, track falls, record hospital stays and keep notes about things you want to tell your doctor.
How can Care65 help me prepare for an aged-care assessment?
Care65 helps you think about what has been happening before your assessment. You can record changes and difficulties as they happen, including things you've had to change, stop doing or ask for help with. This can make it easier to remember important information when it is time to talk about your care needs.
Can I use Care65 for medical appointments too?
Yes. Care65 can help you organise information you may want to discuss with your doctor or another health professional. It includes a What to Tell My Doctor section specifically for this purpose.
What is the Head-to-Toe Check-In?
The Head-to-Toe Check-In guides you through different areas of your health and everyday life. Questions help jog your memory about symptoms, concerns and how they may be affecting what you can do.
Do I have to complete everything at once?
No. You can work through Care65 at your own pace and return to it when you are ready.
What is My Care Summary?
My Care Summary brings together the information you have chosen to record in Care65. You can review your information before an appointment or assessment and update it when things change.
Can I create a PDF of my information?
Yes. Care65 can create a Care Summary PDF from the information you have entered. You decide whether to save or share it and who receives it.
Does Care65 automatically send my information to anyone?
